Louisiana Post-Licensing Courses
 
Requirements
    
In Louisiana, all new real estate licensees are required to complete a post-license course within their first full year of licensure.  This education is intended to ensure that licensees possess the practical knowledge necessary to practice real estate "in the field."  DONALDSON courses are designed for just this purpose!  With convenient correspondence and internet post-license courses, DONALDSON helps ensure that not only will your post-license learning experience be a convenient one, but also we help you learn with beneficial information for every aspect of your new life as a real estate professional!
 
Here is how it works:
 
If you received your license in 2008, in order to renew your license for 2010 you will need to complete a minimum of 30 hours approved post-license coursework AND the 2009 Mandatory Continuing Education Course.
 
If you received your license in 2009, you must complete a minimum of 45 hours of approved post-license coursework within 180 days of licensure.  In addition, you will need to complete the 2009 Mandatory Continuing Education Course in order to renew your license for 2010.
